Bilingualism

Came across this post:

http://www.loveandculture.net/Documents/58/francois-grosjeans-favorite-myths-about-bilingualism

Very interested in what I read, especially that now I have something to back my reasons for not having an English accent to my English speaking, but a Maltese one pretty much:

1. Never had the need to acquire a native British accent

2. Speaking Maltese-English means that it may be clearer to the people I am around

3. Maltese-English is what I have heard around me.

(Maltese-English is referring here to speaking to English with a Maltese accent, not mixing the two)
