Tomorrow I should have been flying to France with my supervisor and a research assistant from our department for a conference in France. However as you definitely (probably?) know my now, especially if you’re in Europe, airspace over here, our plans have been scuppered.
What to do though?
My ever-resourceful supervisor has figured out our plan of action: A car has been rented, and a ferry has been booked. So tomorrow morning sees us making our way from London to somewhere in south-central France…I’ve been told my supervisor drives a bit fast and a bit crazily…so wish me luck
I wish you luck…hehe..

How did you get by? I had a few friends get stuck, and have to resort to sea travel. I think it sounds kind of exciting!

We got there and back whole
It was a long trip, but at least we got there. Also the conference was not too badly hit: we were 90 from an expected 110 it seems, so not too bad.
Hope your sea travel went well
