Being Maltese, of course, food is an important part of our culture 😉 So, of course, organising a meal with people from the course could not go amiss. Marilyn had been organising it, choosing Guze as our destination, since she had been there before.
We got there around 8:30pm, going in to find a beautifully decorated place, with gorgeous views over the Grand Harbour – WOW! There was quite a good turnout I must say, and it was great to catch up with everyone somewhere where we could actually talk, unlike at the ball, where it was not as conduicive to talking 🙂 (just drinking :P).Also, sitting across the table from a group of people who are working at the company I was working with in summer, it was good to get the gossip 😛 hihi.
I ordered (of course) the Pasta with Maltese sausage and other Maltese stuff. WOW – the portions were positively enormous! But that’s OK. I have realised that since leaving Malta my portion sizes have been reduced somewhat, and I am no longer capable of comfortably eating so much, but I guess that is a good thing right?
During the course of the meal we also got to talking about Wednesday buscade, graduation t-shirts, and other celebrations. Can’t wait for us to be actually graduated! Then I can write…
Ann Fenech B.Sc (Hons) Chemistry & Biology
😛 Doesn’t that sound posh 😛 hihi
I have now also come across the poll button, and have been thinking of a poll…What do you think about how to pay when you go out to eat with friends?
Tell me what you think!
